A circuit court judge last Thursday sentenced a four-time DUI offender to five years in prison, the maximum sentence allowed by statute. Michael J. Maddox, who previously killed his girlfriend while driving drunk, was sentenced Thursday, June 12 for a Nov. 30 incident of driving while intoxicated.
